Who is Social Jack?
Jack Campisi is a
marketing, sales and client relations specialist and a driving force in the
growth of social media marketing & networking in the Fairfield County area.
He is also the co-host of the marketing web series: The Purple Goldfish Podcast. Jack also developed, produces and co-hosts the
MRA Hot Seat Podcast for the Greater NY Market Research Association.
As a Sr. Account Director and social media consultant for Engage121, a Social CRM software platform, Jack has worked with a number of major brands on social media strategy, execution and metrics/tracking. Major
clients include Maaco, Hy-Vee Supermarkets, Century21, Golden Corral, ERA Real Estate, Exit
Realty, Tasti D-Lite, Wild Birds Unlimited, Wellbridge Athletic Clubs and Doyle Restaurant Group.

Jack was
introduced to the marketing world in 2001 when he joined J. Brown's client
technology division, Technology-3. There he worked on consumer applications for
clients including online customized ad tools for Avaya, online ordering for
promotional materials for Campbell's and sweepstakes sites for Tropicana and
Quaker.
A veteran of the software industry, Jack has worked in product development,
marketing, management and sales in a variety of categories including
promotions, market research, online coupons and e-commerce portals.
Jack has particular expertise in qualitative research technology and was key
player in the growth of market research technology. He worked with Greenfield
Online & Strategic Focus to help introduce online focus groups to the
industry. Then, as Director of Usability for Digital Idea, Jack ran a full
service usability lab. He later served as Senior Account Director and Product
Manager at FocusVision Worldwide. Jack was involved in almost every aspect of
the business, including sales, support, marketing, product development and
client training. He has worked with a variety of clients including Yahoo,
Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Merck, Jack-in-the-Box, Fidelity, Microsoft and Procter
& Gamble.
As the VP of Client Solutions, Jack lead the sales, marketing and client
relations charge at Brainloaf, a software company specializing in marketing
automation, social media and digital video technology solutions. It was here
that he became immersed in the new world of social media technology, naturally
building on his extensive interactive experience.

Jack co-hosts a marketing video podcast and blog with Stan Phelps, the Vice President of Synergy Events. The project focuses on exceptional service and word of mouth marketing. The project is grounded in a major social media campaign to garner user/public input.
· Over 35 episodes of the podcast posted. Channels include the blog, YouTube and iTunes.
· Over 850 user submitted entries of companies nominated as Purple Goldfish. (For going above and beyond expectations and providing a memorable customer experience.)
· The project was featured at the Burning Question seminar in Cannes, France.
